Match report With the skipper still injured, Mike Webb took charge of his first game as captain and duly delivered an easy win for the TM's.
It became clear very early that Palm Tree were not used to facing the firepower we had on offer, and Dinesh dropped to a three pace run up before retiring from the attack after just five overs (2-13). After that it was a case of giving everyone a trundle and hoping Palm Tree would post a decent score.
They managed 127, which meant we could juggle our batting order to give some of the usual tail-enders a go.
Unfortunately they didn't make the most of their chance and it was left to Raf to bat through with an excellently contructed knock of 62 not out, whilst Dinesh came in at 8 to call a halt to proceedings with a brutal 22 not out off 12 balls, finishing the game with a huge six.
A very friendly and enjoyable game, but not our toughest challenge of the season.
