Match report An excellent game, enjoyed by everyone present.
TM's won the toss and batted, but limped to 48-5 off the first 15 overs with some excellent swing bowling by opening bowler Patel (a.k.a Psycho). Only Riz kept things together until he was joined by wicketkeeper Sanjay Patnaik who hit a spirited 24 in a 53 partnership. Riz was then left with the tail and finally fell for an excellent 80 as we were disappointingly bowled out within 34 overs.
The home side's bowling however, was much more pleasing than the batting as Archway never got a strangle hold of the game in their innings. Shahrokh's wonderful opening spell and some tight bowling by Mohamed Raza met that Archway had stuttered to 105-5 after 30 overs. Rizwan was then brought on and back came Roger Luck for a second spell and this spell of 3-9 alongside Riz's spell of 2-15 saw Tm's home by one run, with four balls left. Phew!
