Match report Visitors Langleybury having won the toss started well and at 129-2 in the 38th over looked set for a big score. However the introduction of Dinesh Ramalingam (11-0-46-4) soon ended such ambition as he proceeded to tear through the opposition line up. In partnership with Peter Such (19-5-55-4) who bowled with his usual verve,accuracy and incisiveness, the pair restricted the opposition to 186-9 in 53 overs.

TMs began the chase in minor disarray as big guns Mason and O'Brien were dismissed cheaply leaving the home team on on 43-3 in the 8th over. Simon Bunyard(63*) began the rebuilding process and with the help of Doug Pyrke(21) and Asif Sutaria (24*) eventually led the TMs home with 5 overs and four wickets to spare.

As the dust settled on the victory Peter Such announced to the lads that this was his last game of cricket, probably ever, that he enjoyed his time with the team and wished us all the very best. Our thanks to him not only for a superb return of 49 wickets at 13.31 in 17 matches but the genorosity with which he imparted his vast knowledge of the game to young and old alike - we wish him all the best in his future ventures and hope to see him around in the not too distant future.
