TM2s beat Waltham X Rosedale to move to fourth place and within 2 points of league leaders Letchworth II.

W X R won the toss and elected to field, TMs innings got off to a bad start with the early loss of Zakuan Chowdhury and things did not get better as the middle order also came and went without troubling the scorers too much. However Zakuan’s opening partner, Sameen Khan (63) continued to ply his trade well and with Nozmul Hussain (25) and Waqar Ali (58*) , Numbers 8 and 9 respectively, built the foundations for a final total of 192 off 43 overs.

Not content with a marvelous lower order counter attack with the bat , new ball partners Waqar ( 13.5-2-21-4) and Nozmul ( 8-1-39-3) ripped through the opposition, supported ably by the left arm spin of Yousaf Karim ( 9-2-40-3) which led to a 20 run victory for the visitors.
