Match report Following a convincing win over St. Margaretsbury and with just two remaining fixtures, the 1st XI are now firm favourites for promotion to the Herts Premier League. Although wicketless, outstanding bowling from Imran Khan and Vishal Bhimjiyani piled pressure on the visitors. Bomber Murdoch's two short spells however did the real damage as he collected 4 scalps. Skipper, Shaun O'Brien chipped in with 2, to leave TMs with a 'gettable' 281. Le Fort went early playing one off the shoe lace into the 'keepers gloves. Bomber then took command, smashing 62 before holing out. Although batting supremo Gary Wilson departed on 0, Shaun O'Brien took control with a fine knock of 79*. Bhimjiyani chipped in with a useful 19, whilst Simon Bunyard, back from injury, batted sensibly for his 15* to see the side home.
