Old Millihillians C.C.
The Old Millhillians' Cricket Club has a rich history, having been established in 1878, playing cricket in the Hertfordshire leagues, initially as a means of offering competitive club cricket for former members of Mill Hill School. Over recent years its member base has extended to welcome players and spectators from outside the old boys base, but it has continued to retain at its heart a core of school leavers, with over 30 Mill Hill old boys playing competitive games for the Club in 2007.
The Club has enjoyed a rich history littered with colourful characters, and not inconsiderable success on the field from its home in the picturesque setting of Headstone Lane. The club has been home to a number of high quality players, including current internationals Justin Langer and Darren Sammy and for many years the club also hosted the popular annual 6 a side benefit match for Middlesex CC players.
In 2006 the OMCC 1st XI had its most successful season of recent years, claiming the Herts League Division 1 title to secure promotion back to the Home Counties' league.
